Patrick A. Josephs is the Managing Director of New York for Otteau Group and has over 30 years of multi-faceted real estate experience. He was designated MAI by the Appraisal Institute in 1996 and AI-GRS in 2014. He was also designated MRICS by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 2001 and FRICS in 2015. He has personally analyzed over 3,000 investment properties over the last 30+ years and has written thousands of narrative reports on real property valuation, market and feasibility studies. He serves as instructor for the Appraisal Institute and as an adjunct professor at the New York University Schack Institute of Real Estate. He has designed and taught real estate appraisal courses to University Students and Professionals. He holds a Bachelor’s degree with honors in Urban Estate Management from the University of Westminster (London) and a Master’s degree in Real Estate Valuation & Analysis from New York University. He is a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser in six states (New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Delaware and the District of Columbia). He has completed specialized training with the Appraisal Institute and the International Right-of-Way Association (IRWA) that equips him to competently handle valuations for right-of-way and tax appeal cases.
