Connor F. Montferrat, MAI is a partner and practice leader at the Otteau Group, who is directly involved in appraisals throughout New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. Mr. Montferrat’s typical assignments involve appraisal litigation, market studies for new development, and valuation consulting for both public and private sector clients.
Mr. Montferrat has been qualified as an expert witness in New Jersey Superior Court and U.S. Bankruptcy Court as well as numerous municipal councils, zoning and planning boards. Connor has handled appraisal valuation of all property types from retail malls, offices, industrial to complex properties such as skyscrapers, hotels, self-storage, and subdivisions. His consulting work includes marketability studies, redevelopment & affordable housing consulting, and site plan application testimony.
Connor also has extensive experience in public policy and urban planning. He is a graduate of Rutgers University and has a Certificate in American Politics & Public Policy from the Eagleton Institute of Politics. He holds two master’s degrees from the Edward J. Bloustein School for Planning and Public Policy and a Certificate in Historic Preservation. He previously served on Hightstown Borough Council from 2014-2019 and is a member of the American Planning Association.
